needless to say, he did not take the wine during his first communion
The ceremony took about 2 hours and the kids managed to behave. Shua has been waiting for the moment. He said the host tasted better when it was blessed. After the mass, we had a small get together at home with our friends. We had some screw ups, I ordered a gigantic cake while Pat did not order enough pizza. There were 14 of us and I had a half sheet of cake, while Pat ordered 2 large and 1 small pizza...we'll have to switch jobs next time.

Congrats to the handsome communicant (??) Sounds like a great day, and when I was his age, I'd rather have had more cake!!
