Arithmetic

J and I has been doing simple math every now and then but he started showing more interest to it lately. It all started when he went for a class visit to one of the Catholic schools we are applying at. During his visit there, they apparently did some reading and math and he said he didn't know the kind of math they were doing and that sparked his interest in math. We started solving together simple arithmetic on the white board and now he has asked me to give him problems to solve on his own. We are just using the counting system approach as of now...( counting up for addition, counting down for subtraction and counting multiple times for multiplication)
