Spring

I apologize for our lack of things to say here lately. Our schedule is mostly just about accomplishing tasks around the house, trying to get in to the Catholic schools, immigration paper works of my folks and sister Rhiza, Kindergarten school activities, and a lot of work for Pat.

This weekend, we went to J's school carnival. He was skeptical during the week to go because he thought there will be clowns at the carnival and fortunately, there were no clowns. He tried several games and did a bit of rock climbing too. He has been more open to trying new things lately and that is all good. It normally takes him a while to try new things and so it is great to see how he has progress on that aspect. On Sunday, there was "Peace" Art exhibit at church and some kid craft stations. I helped at one of the crafting station for an hour while the two roam around to check out the exhibit and do some of the craft. In the afternoon, Pat and J went on a bike ride to the park while I did some chores and a bit of decorating...yipee!

As for getting in to the Catholic schools here, we won't hear from them until April and we are again not too sure if we are getting in. This is our last year to have a better chance and so we are definitely crossing our fingers.

My folks immigration paperworks is coming along just fine. Most of the hold up right now is coming up with the money to pay all of their fees. It is pretty crazy but we are hanging in there. I probably should get a job soon though...whew!

Anyway, the next weeks will be the same story for us ... we are hoping we can squeeze a little bit of home renovation in our budget sometime. We are anxious to get our floor projects done - that'll be nice! For now, we'll just take it easy.
