Well, we are on a mad dash to finish all of our pending projects before Mama and Papa arrives in October. Pat will be in the Philippines to pick them up from Oct 7-13 so we are trying to get everything done before he leaves. Ma and Pa will move here on Oct 13, of course with Pat as their guide. We just wanted to make sure they make it here in one piece without us having to worry about them getting lost somewhere since they have never been outside of the country or not even outside of Luzon on that note. Pat managed to get some good deal using his mileage and so that made it a bit easier on our pocket.
Anyway, we have accomplished a lot lately but we do still have a long list of things to do. The bulk of it would be the floor, we have decided to lay down bamboo floors in the bedroom where they will stay instead of carpet. Then pretty much it is mostly building shelves and storage space for our junk since we did use that bedroom as storage before. It'll be interesting to see all of the changes though. I am glad we are sorting out the house before my parents move in with us otherwise it'll be more work to do it when the house is packed.
Anyway, it is busy, busy, busy here for a while... I guess it is always busy here. We always find something to torture ourselves with - hmmm ;)
Oh well, got to pick the boy from school now. On that note, our "schooling stuff" here has been an interesting debacle...whew! Details about that will be posted later... I need to go...
