walk for a good cause

This Sunday, I did the Walk for the Cure with some of my friends and colleagues. We left early so we can get a group breakfast before heading out. We took the shuttle (i.e; school bus) to the site and that was fun. The place was packed with people, they said it was the 3rd biggest in the nation this year. There were more than 47,000 participants I think and it took us about an hour to get to the starting point of the race and another hour to finish the walk. It was more like a parade more than anything, you can barely walk due to the big crowd. We all agreed that if we were to do it again next year,we will definitely do the 5K run this time. Overall, we had fun and it was all for a good cause.
