I finally remembered to take photos of J's bedroom. We got him some glow in the dark stick-on stars and constellations for his walls and the glow in the dark hanging planets and a few other accessories.
The curtain was my lazy way of covering up his closet but it turned out to be the favorite in the room. 
He likes it a lot since it is easier for him to access his clothes and toys.
He has both the world map and the US map which entertains him at night too when he can't sleep. He enjoys finding new countries and places on the map.
He does play a lot with his train table now that he has the bigger space for it. When not in use it slides under his bed.
